In the universe of Godfare, a megacorp is used to describe a company that has reach beyond eight solar systems. Due to the restrictive nature of FTL travel and the size of the Ashen Eye Galaxy it can be very difficult for a company to even be known beyond one planet. But there are a few that have managed to do so.
While megacorps do hold a good amount of power in their respective domains, with some even having private planets, the majority of them are still beholden to their state masters. Ever since the Commerce War, the major empires have made sure to keep a tight leash on the megacorps, lest they try and take power again. Only the Eclipse Transporting Company and Powderkeg Protection, along with Cutt&Dyre Operations and Pure Aether Logistics have escaped this. Though that is more to do with necessity rather than want. Most companies have allegiances to a state, based mostly on religious preferences than loyalty to the state itself. But besides military technology, one can find products from both sides finding their way to the other.
Unaligned Companies
Eclipse Transporting Company: “The veins of the galaxy.” Almost every bit of trade or non-military transit has gone through the holds of an Eclipse vessel at one point or another. They hold no allegiances to anyone and are second only to Ostrus and Ashua.
Powderkeg Protection: While mag-weapons have become the premiere weapon of the modern age, gunpowder weapons still have a place. They are the sole producer of gunpowder weaponry, selling their wares to any planet or faction that cannot afford the prices of Blackwall or KrakenArms. They are a favorite among civilians, who have no access to magnetic weapons.

Cutt&Dyre Operations: The sole supplier of lyshan crystals for Ashua. They hold a massive private military, and access to the latest military technology to handle the dangers of acquiring the hyper-valuable crystals.
Mining and Xanthium Production
Geyser Corp: A relatively new company, it serves to feed Ashua dragon iron, mythril, and the millions of tons of xanthium required every week.
